太極,就是不給予對手支撐的力量。(不頂不丟四字中的不頂勁的原因)
當兩人互推時,我方用力,就是把自身建立成一個傳力的結構,結實的支撐住對方,想像一下,如果是另一個場景,我們是推向消氣中的氣球,球不給予我們對地面的支撐,所以我們很容易失重,而且就算是不失去重心,也要費力的去平衡這失去的支撐,這時不管你有什麼大的力量都使不上的,因為你和地心引力是失衡的狀態,失去重心的控制,一切都要等你找回平衡,才有下一步的可能性,這時,是舉步惟艱,半步都難以自已。
不給支撐的力量,就是不頂勁。
生活中的例子就是窗簾,窗簾的下方是無力,沒有支撐能力的,所以你的力量無法借用它來接到地上,當你用力推,就會失去平衡,但是窗簾並不受你的力量而失去平衡與自由度。
太極拳也要練到這樣的程度,把自身的平衡變成一個像是掛在天花版上面的平衡體,像墜子一樣,此時,才能做到"任他巨力來打我"都沒關系。這時才真的有感覺到滿身輕利頭頂懸。
Taiji , is to tear down the support to our enemy. (not to resist)
when i push to someone else, I push that means a solid structure is created by me to support our enemy's balance. you can call it a bridge, the two ends will be the point you touch the enemy and the other is you foot.
Taiji want to tear down this strucure and let the enemy to balance itself. this will make enemy to try very hard to balance its body. its like when you pushing to a curtain. the down part of curtain is empty. no matter how hard you push, the curtain don't provide the supporting structure. you are not able to use strength in this state. this is the way Taiji do.
the supporting structure of curtain is the ceiling. we will create a similar balance structure of our body balance.
 
那不丟勁是何意?就是消氣中的球還是有平衡你推力的能力,此時你用力向右邊壓下,他也是很均勻的接受你的力量,回應你的力量,這就是不丟,太極拳的不頂勁就是不給予支撐,不丟勁就是要保有自身控制對方重心的能力。
只是這四個字,就夠你練個三年五年的了!
 
what means "still connected"? it means that you should still have the ability to affect the balance of your enemy. To act like a baloon. when you pressing a baloon, it will not resist your weight but still control your balance. left or right, up or down, it's all depends on how you push. we call it weighting machine in Kongfu.
it's hard to learn this.
The first thing to do is give up to win. because that , when you want to win or not to lose, you will try hard to resist. it's a long story to say. maybe next article to explain that.
